Planning For Your Future
Students deserve a smooth transition from their Berkeley experience to post-grad life. As your next AAVP, I will create an ASUC Test Prep Center so students will have the opportunity to affordably prepare for their academic futures. For students planning on working right out of college, I will work with the Career Center to host a wider array of employers and I will also bring students exclusive internship and job opportunities by partnering with the Cal Alumni Association.

Revamping and Expanding Online Academic Resources
Navigation and access of our online resources has always been problematic. I will institutionalize a committee with students and administrators, so that the student voice can be reflected the enhancement of these services. I will work with CalCentral to redesign BSpace, Tele-Bears, and BearFacts to make these sites more efficient and user-friendly. In expanding resources, I will create an interactive four-year degree planner in addition to augmenting the webcast lecture program at Cal.

Enhancing Co-Curricular Learning Opportunities
As AAVP, I will host interdisciplinary competitions, collaborative service opportunities, and a monthly speaker series featuring renowned professionals and faculty, so that students have opportunities to learn through experience beyond a traditional classroom setting. I will also finalize and further institutionalize plans to place more students in the academic senate and its committees in order to have an accurate representation of students’ wants and needs to the faculty and administration.
