Increase Safety in Student Housing
Multiple incidents occur in university residence halls each year. As a freshman, I was an assault victim. To ensure that no student faces this, I will install security cameras in hall lobbies, implement better training for security monitors, and foster a community of accountability, so students feel safe at home.
Unify & Advocate for the Dance Community during the Lower Sproul Project
As a member of multiple dance groups, I understand the impact of Lower Sproul Redevelopment. I will secure our practice space by creating a mobile application for dancers, making Hearst reservations more accessible, creating a Strawberry Canyon shuttle, and finding alternative spaces for the community. Furthermore, I will serve on the Dance Board and advocate for our needs to the administration.
Promote Cal Spirit by Fostering Cal Athletics-Student Group Relations
By creating partnerships between Cal Athletics and student groups, I will share the experience of Cal Spirit with all Golden Bears. Athletics can provide marketing resources for student groups who will in return promote Cal Spirit by bringing more students to games. I will also plan a Big Game Week concert to celebrate our campus!

Hello fellow Golden Bears!
My name is Lauren Week and I am incredibly excited to be running for ASUC Senate with Student Action! I am originally from Vacaville, CA and am currently pursuing a double major in Political Economy and Legal Studies. Here on campus I am involved with the dance community (Danceworx, [M]ovement, and TruElement), represent Cal Spirit as a member of the Cal Cheerleading team, and serve the Greek Community as the Head of Philanthropy for the Panhellenic Council.
