Senator Chen-Chen Huo
Hi friends! My name is Chen-Chen Huo and I am currently a third year Business Administration student here at Berkeley. I hope to either do Teach for America, law school, and then consulting in my near future.
I’m originally from San Francisco, and I love NorCal with all of my heart. In my free time, I love to watch How I Met Your Mother, Grey’s Anatomy, and the Avatar cartoon series. I love to travel, though I haven’t had much of a chance yet, so hit me up if you ever want to take a cross country road trip or an adventure across the world.
Senator Huo's Goals
1) INCREASING THE IMPACT OF UNIVERSITY CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMS
Many students at Cal struggle to find quality careers. I will formalize an ASUC liaison to the Career Center to collect student input, assess current problems, and advocate for resources to increase career opportunities. I will also work with the ASUC marketing committee to increase the Career Center’s visibility on campus.
2) UNITING THE PROFESSIONAL FRATERNITIES ON CAMPUS
We lack an overarching organization that unites our quality professional fraternities on campus. I will create a Professional Fraternity Council that will allow our professional fraternities to share resources and leverage our collective skills to create events such as a professional fraternity fair, career conferences, and networking events.
3) PROMOTING CAL SPIRIT AND UNITY THROUGH MUSIC
A large, unifying music festival on campus will promote Cal spirit and unity. I will work with Cal Performances, SUPERB, and the Office of the President to bring vendors, entertainment, and big-name music artists to perform on the UC Berkeley campus at a culminating music festival.
