Consolidating Resources for Business Organizations
We currently lack a centralized location where business students can find resources and events catered to their specific needs. I will collaborate with programs such as Campus Quad to consolidate publicity and resources for business groups on an accessible portal. Business students will benefit from having an intermediary space where they can receive immediate assistance for issues pertaining to their interests.

Creating Diversity in Speaker Panels
Our well-qualified students on campus often lack the networking resources to facilitate the process of securing jobs. I will leverage the reputation of the ASUC and the high-performing caliber of our students to encourage more speaker panels of different professions and majors. While fostering an intellectually-diverse environment, these events will provide students the opportunity to showcase their capabilities through resume drops and networking sessions.

Promoting Musical Performances on Campus
In the past, our campus has orchestrated school-wide musical performances such as The Glade and Rock the Vote Concert. In an effort to sustain such musical appreciation, I will partner with SUPERB and the Office of the President to not only bring well-known artists to campus but to also foster the musical passion of our students by featuring them and their respective talents in these performances.

Hi Everyone! My name is James Chi, and I am very humbled and thrilled to be running for your next ASUC Senator with Student Action. Originally from the beautiful city of Los Angeles, I am currently a Sophomore pursuing a double major in Business Administration and Economics. If I am not playing the guitar, you can probably find me singing or choreographing my own dance routines.

Through retaining several leadership positions in business organizations, dance communities, and student committees, I have come to truly understand the importance of having fair and equal representation for every student at Cal. College is arguably the most influential four years of our lives, and I believe that this unparalleled experience should be inclusive of and accommodating towards the needs of our entire student body.

With my love and passion for Cal, I will strive towards implementing tangible and positive changes to the student experience here on campus. I am sincerely grateful for all of the support and encouragement that I have received during my time here, and this is one of the many reasons why I want to make Cal a place that supports you. As always, GO BEARS!
