Incorporate the Work of Student Groups
Berkeley students are brilliant and creative, and we need to do more to turn their ideas into reality. I will ensure our innovations take on a more prominent position by establishing events that showcase our works to the Berkeley community. Through this enhanced visibility and ASUC funding, I will help guarantee that we are leaving a lasting and meaningful impact at Cal.

Ensure that the Engineering Library is a 24/7 Resource

The Kresge Engineering Library is a tremendously important collaborative and constructive study space for all students. As senator, I will continue the work of the current ASUC executives and ensure that the Engineering Library is a 24/7 resource available to all students, and that the library has the resources needed to continue promoting collaboration.

Strengthen our Engineering Alumni Network

UC Berkeley has some of the most incredibly diverse and accomplished alumni of any university. As senator, I will work to establish an alumni keynote series alongside other events that showcase the accomplishments realized and obstacles overcome by our graduates, all while fostering a greater sense of community between students and alumni.

Hometown: Atlanta, GA

Hey Everyone! My name is Quinn Z Shen and I'm running to be one of your voices in the ASUC Senate! I am currently a second year from Atlanta, Georgia (lived half my life there, and then the other half in Rockville, Maryland) pursuing Electrical Engineering and Computer Science! In my spare time, I enjoy baking, sailing, hacking, designing, taiko'ing, balling or just relaxing with friends and family.

As Senator, I will strive to be a strong voice for designers, engineers, and cultural performance groups; a voice that I feel is often lacking in the ASUC Senate. I am absolutely humbled by this opportunity and I know we can leave our positive mark here at Cal.

If you have any questions or just want to chat, feel more than welcome to contact me - I absolutely love meeting new people! As always, GO BEARS!
