Streamlining Campus Resources and Supporting Student Groups
Thriving student groups create a thriving student body. As your next EVP, I will expand and streamline the resources available to student organizations, providing them with more opportunities to impact change on campus. I will create and institutionalize a listserve that reaches all club presidents, work to consolidate event advertisements through a centralized system, and expand our current equipment rental program for student groups.
Creating a More Student-Centered Lower Sproul Project
Lower Sproul Redevelopment is a $223 million project, of which students are paying for more than half. As EVP, I will advocate for the student voice and needs as a member of the Lower Sproul Working Group. I will continue to fight for student space and lobby administration to allocate more campus resources for the benefit of every Cal student, regardless of whether they are involved in a student group or not. Finally, I will ensure that students are consistently updated with the progress of the Lower Sproul Project with an interactive online portal.
Encouraging Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship
UC Berkeley students are amongst the brightest and most creative in the nation; as EVP, I will help students turn their brilliant ideas into tangible projects. I will institutionalize a Student Entrepreneurship Fund to bring microfinancing to our campus and I will also create a central hub that will promote innovation and collaboration. I will bring successful entrepreneurs to campus to inspire the student thinkers and create an alumni network to support our campus leaders long after graduation.

Hi friends! My name is Chen-Chen Huo and I'm runnin to be your next ASUC Executive Vice President with Student Action! I'm currently a 3rd year Business major and music minor, and I hope to eventually start an international business. I was born in China but grew up in San Francisco, California, and I eventually want to explore the world.
Serving as an ASUC senator has shown me just how strong the student voice is on our campus. As a proud Cal Bear, I can't wait for the opportunity to support our students on this campus, as it takes thriving student groups to create a thriving student body.
Your support is humbling and inspirational, and as always, I am open for questions, concerns, and feedback. Thank you, and Go Bears!
