Senate Platforms
Strengthen the Presence of Professional Fraternities
I will assist each professional fraternity in their expansion while building the community as a whole. I will grow the Professional Fraternity Council and create a position within the Greek IFC and PHC for a PFC representative. I will found a philanthropic event sponsored by all fraternities and sororities at Cal.
Advocate for Students with Disabilities and Restrictive Diets
I will push for reform in food-making policy to prevent cross-contamination. I will implement programs that teach employees how to accommodate any and all food allergies or diets. I will promote the rights of students with disabilities and demand additional training of professors/GSIs to accommodate and include these individuals.
Promote Jewish Culture on Campus
I will revamp the Bears Breaking Bread program to foster peaceful collaboration between cultural and religious groups. I will work with the Jewish Student Union and affiliated groups to create an Israeli and Jewish culture showcase. I will establish a regular forum to answer questions from students about the ASUC.

Hey there! My name is Henry Grunzweig and I'm running for the ASUC Senate with Student Action. I'm a sophomore from Los Angeles with an intended major in political science and minor in public policy. My hobbies include playing FIFA '13, reading science fiction, and working out.
On campus, you may have seen me helping sign-up students for VoteCo with Safeena - I too work in the EAVP office! I’m also involved in the Professional Fraternity Community (brother of Phi Alpha Delta) and Greek Life (brother of Alpha Epsilon Pi). Additionally, I am a member of UC Berkeley Model United Nations and actively involved in the Jewish Community.
As a Senator, I will bring together all of these diverse communities so that they can collectively change Cal for the better. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time with your thoughts, advice, suggestions, questions, or otherwise! Thank you so much for your support. May the force be with you!
