Enhancing the Dorm Experience
Dorm facilities need more resources to help students succeed. I will work with the Residence Hall Assembly to increase funding for residence halls and for longer hours of operations for the Academic Service Centers. Finally, I will create an ASUC-funded program to help students transition out of the dorms.
Improve Understanding of the Christian Community
There are many misunderstandings and stereotypes surrounding the Christian faith. In order to clear confusion, I will organize a “What’s Christianity?” panel, where a representative of each Christian club on campus is invited to answer students’ questions about Christianity. This will lead to a more informed and understanding faith community.
Securing Campus Access and Space
There is a big scarcity of student space on our campus. I will work with off-campus buildings to provide new space for student groups. I will also build a portal where groups will be able to see the availability status of these rooms and reserve them more effectively.

Greetings Bears! My name is Kayon Brantley, and I am running for ASUC Senate with Student Action! I am currently a first-year and, like many people my age, do not know what I want to do with my life as of now. During my spare time, I love to watch Phineas & Ferb, learn how to cook (though I fail miserably at it), and fence! My first year at Cal has been filled with many lessons and great blessings, and I want all students, both new and returning, to have the same experience. Noticing the endless opportunities to serve this University, I immediately became plugged in and, consequently, now serve as President of Davidson & Griffiths Hall Association in Unit 2, intern for ASUC President Connor Landgraf, actively participate in Christian organizations, and am also a member of the Cal Fencing club/team (Which is one of the best sports EVER)! As you can see, I love being involved and taking advantage of every resource offered to me. Being involved in these organizations has showed me all of the unique people that make up our student body, and I would honestly love nothing more than to serve YOU as your next ASUC Senator. Questions? Comments? Concerns? Contact me! Trust me, you won't be a bother... I love talking and getting to know new people! Have a blessed day, and stay golden!
